Quickstart

First request in under five minutes.

Set up the minimum production-like path: account, app, environment, credential, SDK config, one request, then a log check.

Step 1

Create your account and organization

Register, confirm your email if required, and choose the organization that will own applications and credentials.

Step 2

Create an application

Applications are the API surfaces that receive endpoint versions, credentials, logs, and lifecycle state.

Portal: Applications -> New Application
Name: Billing API

Step 3

Confirm an environment

New organizations include a production environment when created through normal signup. Add staging or development if you test before production.

Portal: Settings -> Environments
Example domain: api.example.com

Step 4

Issue an application credential

Create a client ID and secret scoped to the application environment that will send requests. Copy the secret once and store it in your secret manager.

ENDPOINTBLANK_CLIENT_ID=epb_client_...
ENDPOINTBLANK_CLIENT_SECRET=epb_secret_...
ENDPOINTBLANK_ENVIRONMENT=production

Step 5

Install an SDK and send traffic

Use the package for your framework. These are the SDK package families published for EndPointBlank's supported runtimes.

# Ruby / Rails
bundle add end_point_blank_rails

# JavaScript
npm install end_point_blank_js

# Python
pip install end_point_blank_py

# Elixir
mix hex.info end_point_blank_elixir

# Java
# Use the end_point_blank_java package from Maven Central.

Step 6

Inspect logs and metrics

After the first request, check authorization logs, request logs, errors, and the metrics dashboard to verify traffic reached the portal.
